How long does it take to set up a forum?
Registering a forum takes only a few minutes. You need to register using the registration box on this page, and simply click the activation link in the email that you receive. After this, you can customize the forum for your needs, by adding discussion subjects and inviting users.

Is there a manual on how to add discussion topics to a forum?
Yes. MyForums uses the phpbb bulletinboard software. You can use the resources at www.phpbb.com as a good source of information.

I already have a forum elsewhere. Can I import the discussions and user details?
Yes. Please contact us at support@myforums.net to request access to the database that drives your forum. If you use the same version of phpbb software, you can simply upload the database.
If you are using another bulletin board, you may be able to convert it using tools available at www.phpbb.com. This often requires having access to the server (upload scripts). We can temporarily give you access to a subdirectory on your forum for you to perform the conversion.

Can I use my own domain, or my own subdomain?
Sure. Just register a subdomain at myforums.net, and sent a request to support@myforums.net to help you out.
